As I’ve been studying journalism at the University of Mississippi, I have focused specifically on Visual Design. Since my freshman year, I have had many opportunities to improve my skills and use them throughout internships and leadership positions! 

Creating impactful photos is the best way to quickly capture the viewers attention. I love to capture lively and exciting photos at events to make the viewer feel a part of the action in the photo!

Social media is a crucial marketing outlet that increases brand awareness and promotes the company! Brand management through social media is something I’ve always been passionate about and have been lucky to use my skills in leadership positions and internships.

Writing is the foundation of all things public relations. Writing skills are crucial to convey a company’s message efficiently and accurately. I have had the chance to write for my school, both in class and in student intern positions.

When stepping into my role as Director of Print and Media, I noticed our website at the time needed a lot of love. This is what motivated me to create olemissaoii.org, our current chapter website. I moved the previous website to Wix and created a clear theme for our new user-friendly site.

Throughout my professional and academic career, I've learned how important promotional videos can be to increasing awareness for a product, event, or company. Learning how to create an impactful story through video has been one of my favorite parts of learning how to create successful marketing content.
